This reusable kitchen sponge is made from Upcycled hessian from Coffee sacks, Cotton waffle with a compostable sponge inside. 100% eco-friendly and plastic-free. In muted natural colours to suit every home.

The Zero waste compostable sponge can be used in the kitchen, bathroom, and for general cleaning, just put them in the washing machine on your normal wash and they last for an average of 6 to 9 months, Once it comes to the end of its life it’s compostable.

A small simple change from plastic sponge scourers… Did you know 400 million cleaning sponges are thrown into landfill in the UK each year? Most of them are plastic and treated with harsh chemicals. These chemicals combine with the nylon and polyester in the sponge and break down into microplastics.

We don’t prewash our fabric so please expect a slight shrinkage when you first wash.
